Deterministic path

Receive. Alert. Approve. Deliver once.

An inbound lead message creates an owner alert with the complete message and an approval code. No ordinary response is sent until the owner approves one exact canned reply; recognized opt-outs follow a separate deterministic confirmation and suppression path.

    The complete message and four-digit approval code go to the owner.

    YES #### permits one canned reply; NO #### dismisses it.

    Unknown, repeated, or improvised outbound text is denied.

Failure mode

Freeform messaging is the wrong default.

A freeform assistant can produce inconsistent replies, mix context between conversations, or send messages that a human did not explicitly approve.

Control model

Safety lives in the guard, not the prompt.

The prototype was redesigned around deterministic replies, isolated sessions, explicit opt-out handling, human review, and outbound controls that deny action unless the state is known and allowed.

Default deny

Outbound rules stay explicit.

HOLD

Live end-to-end validation remains pending, so the prototype is not presented as a production messaging system.

DENY

Fat Cat Finance does not offer installation or maintenance of the underlying OpenClaw framework as a service.

Verified controls

Tests cover the dangerous paths.

  • Nine automated safety tests cover lead intake, approval, opt-outs, one-time delivery, sender identity, and denial of invented text.
  • OpenClaw, the local gateway, and iMessage are configured and health-checked; a controlled real-phone workflow test remains pending.
Current outcome

An internal prototype demonstrating how stronger deterministic safeguards can replace unreliable freeform messaging behavior.

Next validation

Complete controlled end-to-end validation before considering any real-world use beyond internal research.
